DVMcenter has been a wonderful asset to my in-home end-of-life care business. My biggest hesitation starting my own business was how to handle calls from clients while providing services to scheduled clients and also being a mom to two little ones.  I knew I could not answer calls while in a home helping a family, I did not want to spend all of my time between appointments calling back missed calls and wanted to have uninterrupted time at home with my family.  DVMcenter gives me the opportunity to do what I am passionate about, helping families and pets through one of the hardest days of their lives, while having a perfectly trained support center to handle client calls, requests, and inquiries.  Additionally, they respond to emails from clients and provide a platform (Buddy) for documenting appointment notes and a scheduling calendar that is super user friendly.  Buddy is also able to generate reports, such as visits per month, and can track referral hospitals.  I receive compliments from clients on the DVMcenter staff almost daily, sometimes multiple times per day. People always comment how incredibly helpful, compassionate, kind, and not rushed they are on the phone. Furthermore, they help make my appointments seamless.

They have an incredibly detailed process prior to starting with them where they ask a tremendous number of questions so that when a client calls with any request, they can almost always answer their question, without reaching out to me, not only saving me time, but also providing answers immediately for clients.  From a business standpoint, the way they input fees into the system ensures no fees are missed. If a client is outside of my local service area, the zip code automatically generates the appropriate travel fee. If the pet is over 100#’s, the fee is autogenerated. This is so important that clients are quoted appropriately anytime they call.  Another benefit of DVMcenter is they are always coming up with ways to make their clients’ lives easier. Early on in the pandemic they reached out to me to see how I would like to handle COVID and scheduling. They also reach out frequently to see if everything is going ok and if there is anything they can do to help.  To say they are a wonderful asset is a tremendous understatement.  Admittedly, I have been offering the same services for almost 7 years, but within 3 months of starting on my own in February 2020, I was seeing the caseload I was accustomed to in the depths of the pandemic and I attribute much of that to the attention to detail, dedication, and compassion of the DVMcenter staff. I would highly recommend DVMcenter to anyone who offers in-home end-of-life services.
