Meet Our Talented Staff

Every member of the DVMcenter staff brings valuable industry experience. Our “Dream Team” of interdisciplinary specialists includes veterinarians, engineers, certified veterinary technicians, and client support professionals led by a licensed social worker.

Kristi Lehman, MSW, LISW, CCFP

VICE PRESIDENT

Expertise: BA in Psychology and Family Social Sciences, and Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota, Licensed Independent Social Worker, Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional.

Special Roles: Assists in overseeing the daily operations of MN Pets and DVMcenter including HR, IT, service-delivery, and strategic planning.

Fun Fact: Kristi has fostered over 30 Shih Tzus for a local rescue.

Expertise: Bachelors in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin River Falls, Certified Veterinary Technician.

Special Roles: Member liaison, manages our team of support specialists, and assists with DVMcenter program development.

Fun Fact: Elizabeth volunteered as an elephant caretaker in Thailand.

SUPPORT MANAGER

Expertise: Bachelors in Biology from St. Cloud State University, Certified Veterinary Technician.

Special Roles: Provides client care and scheduling, member liaison, supervises a team of support specialists, and coordinates DVMcenter’s training programs.

Fun Fact: Robin once did a Dental Prophylaxis on a Kangaroo.

Expertise: Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology, Certified Veterinary Technician.

Special Roles: Manages our team of Aftercare Specialists and assists with MN Pets development.

Fun Fact: Maggie has a passion for farmed animals and hopes to one day have her own sanctuary.

Expertise: Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Cal State Fullerton University, Licensed “Pet Loss Grief Specialist”, currently a Livestock Management/Psychology student.

Fun Fact: Anna has swam with tiger sharks and stingrays while on vacation in Florida with her family.

Expertise: Technical Diplomas in Health Office Professional and Healthcare Receptionist from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College.

Fun Fact: Jessica’s dream is to see all 50 states. She has a large framed map in her office and every time she visits a new state she scratches it off with a quarter and it reveals a picture of a famous landmark.

Expertise: Rachael’s entire professional career has been spent working in advanced healthcare facilities, (i.e. elderly, mental health or disabled patients).

Fun Fact:
Rachael is working towards becoming a certified Wildlife Rehabilitator and hopes to have an Animal Sanctuary of her own one day.

Fun Fact: Jamie lived in Arizona for 8 years after college, primarily working at an exotic animal hospital that specialized in pocket pets, reptiles, birds, and aquatics

Expertise: Laurie has spent most of her career in the veterinary field, specializing in shelter management as well as emergency triage.

Fun Fact: Laurie is a self-described geek with a variety of hobbies including gaming, performing at comedy shows, and building her own furniture.

Expertise: Ann has over 22 years of experience in the Veterinary field. Before coming to DVMcenter she was the front desk supervisor for a busy small animal clinic, where she scheduled appointments and surgeries, and had multiple other duties including assisting the doctors with appointments, surgeries and euthanasia.

Special Roles: Providing clients support and scheduling appointments.

Fun Fact: Ann went to kindergarten in Athens, Greece.

Expertise: Bridget has a BA in psychology and previous work experience in the psychology and veterinary fields

Fun Fact: Bridget’s favorite animals are mini pot-bellied pigs! She had one throughout her childhood and teen years named Wilbur and she taught him to play a kid xylophone by pressing the buttons with his snout!

Expertise: Veterinary technician experience in small animal clinic, volunteer work in animal assisted therapy programs, livestock management and youth education in animal sciences.

Special Roles: Shift Lead

Fun Fact: Kelly has spent years working and living on regenerative farms across has a love for livestock, especially pigs. Her family has been working toward dreams of building up their own homestead.

Expertise: Sarah has spent the last six years in the veterinary industry, in both a large practice and a small specialty clinic.

Fun Fact: Sarah has a special soft spot for brachycephalic breeds and currently owns two Frenchies.

Fun Fact: Tatum loves donkeys and works to improve their welfare globally by providing educational opportunities for their owners, farriers, and vets.

Lizette Navarro

SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Expertise: Lizette has had 6 years of caring for animals. She started off at a daycare/boarding facility. Since then, she’s gotten the opportunity to take on the role as a veterinary technician for emergency critical care and general practice medicine.

Fun Fact: Lizette has a huge heart for farm animals (cows especially) and hopes to own her own farm one day. She also enjoy baking and making dessert charcuterie boards.
