DVMcenter is a growing, innovative team providing expert, compassionate support to both end-of-life veterinarians and pet owners facing end-of-life decisions. We work behind the scenes with mobile veterinary practices across the country, helping them deliver thoughtful, personalized care to their clients and patients.
Our mission is to make every step of the euthanasia experience as peaceful and supportive as possible for both pet families and veterinarians.
What You’ll Do
Our Care Coordinators are the heart of the client experience, guiding families with empathy and professionalism from their first call through the loss of their pet. You will:
- Communicate with clients and veterinary teams by phone and email
- Provide compassionate support before, during, and after a pet’s end-of-life visit
- Coordinate appointment logistics with clients, veterinarians, transporters, and referring clinics
- Assist your teammates with support, training, and debriefing
- Pitch in on projects like resource development, marketing, social media, or admin tasks
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for empathetic professionals who can bring calm to emotional conversations and stay organized in a dynamic, fully-remote environment. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Availability for full-time (30–40 hrs/week) or part-time (16–30 hrs/week)
- Availability for at least 2 weekend shifts/month (weekends are paid at +$4/hr)
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Comfort with emotional conversations and the ability to stay present with grieving clients
- A reliable, quiet home workspace and high-speed internet
- Tech-savviness, including comfort with Google suite, Slack, email, calendars, and file management
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- A background in veterinary care or client support is helpful but not required – we’ll train the right person
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage starting at $18-18/hour with a $4/hr weekend differential, along with a comprehensive benefits package which includes PTO, 401k retirement plan with company match, employee veterinary discounts, eligibility for medical, vision, and dental benefits.
- All employees are eligible for quarterly profit sharing after first 90 days of employment.
